Cold/Flu

Rhume/ Grippe

What to do if you have a cold or the flu?

- Hydration : Drink mineral water, at least 2 liters per day. It helps compensate for the loss of electrolytes. In addition, every 3-4 hours, melt a granule of Himalayan salt under the tongue. This also helps to offset electrolytes, in addition to mineral water.

In addition to water, drink vitamin drinks:
- Cranberry juice without added sugar and not boiled to preserve vitamin C.
- Rosehip herbal tea (infused in a thermos, preferably with a glass bottle, for at least one hour).
- Lemon and ginger tea.

- Physical activity : Take walks in the fresh air without rushing. The movement stimulates your lymphatic system and thus strengthens your immunity.

- Diet : Eat fresh vegetables and herbs. Drink bone broth as a source of amino acids, fats and vitamins.

Bone broths cooked for at least 8 hours are an excellent source of easily assimilated protein.

If you wish, you can purchase long-cooking (20 hours) ready-made broths such as beef and chicken broths from the Jarmino company. A big advantage is that the broths are organic ⬇️⬇️⬇️.

Recently I got a promo code for my subscribers. You can use it on your first order with the code prodetox15 to get a 15% discount.

You can consume the broths as is by adding a little Himalayan salt, turmeric or another spice of your choice, herbs , a little vinegar and lime juice for better protein absorption. I often use these broths to cook vegetables and meat, or to make sauces.

- In case of a cold : Rinse your nose with a saline solution (1 teaspoon of salt in a glass of lukewarm water). Salt will cleanse the mucous membranes of viruses and bacteria and reduce edema. Do nasal washes 2 to 3 times a day.

Use coniferous essential oils , which you can inhale throughout the day or apply to the chest by mixing 1 drop of essential oil with 5 ml of base oil such as jojoba or any other oil.

You can also add a few drops to your pillow at night.

Diaphragmatic breathing techniques will also help you.
